This Palm Resort railbus was used to ferry golfers from Singapore to Palm Resort somewhere in Johor Bahru. For unknown reasons, the service was stopped. I think the plan just didn't work out. It was kept at the Tanjung Pagar Railway Station (Singapore) for many years. I saw this railbus at Johor Bahru so they must have pulled it here this year. Before this railbus was used for Palm Resort service, it was used as commuter train in the late 80's and early 90's. The service was stopped because of poor ridership.  I still remember taking one from KL to Jalan Templer. Ofcourse KTM Komuter has taken over the railbus services.  This railbus was made in Hungary.
